Dropped spindles - 1966-1979 for drums - HQ

Caution: for Beetle from 1965 to 1968 the inner diameter of the inner bearing must be verified, it must be 29 mm.

Widen the front axle by 12 mm on each side.
For assembly use modern bearings after 1968 reference: SP-180-860
CB Performance dropped spindles for front axle link pins are manufactured with completely new castings and have chromoly axles. They are stronger and narrower than welded axles.
These spindles maintain the original steering geometry and you can mount original length shock absorbers.
Dropped axles are available for drum or disc models. Disc brake models use modern post-1968 bearings.
