Recommended for powered engines, equipped with electronic ignitions and high-performance coil.

For mounting on Beetle, Combi, Karmann-ghia, Type 3 with type 1 engine only. 

Mounting on engines: 1200/1300/1500/1600 and long stroke.

409 Pro Race cables are made with three layers of silicone and have a dielectric strength of 102,000 volts. Designed around an 8mm 100% silicone ignition wire, a heat-treated fiberglass braid is then applied over the 8mm inner core. A 0.409" diameter silicone shell is then extruded on top. This creates a perfect bond between all the layers to prevent them from accumulating moisture and other unwanted environmental particles.  409 Pro Race Wires feature a spiral wound center conductor that can be used with most high performance ignition kits and protects against radio interference.
